Cookaday
Tonight,decided.
Say what you have, or share a Reel. Cookaday writes the recipe for your kitchen, your people and your evening — then walks you through it. Not another library to scroll at 18:30.

The third way in
Save from anywhere in two taps
A Reel, a TikTok, a YouTube video, a Facebook post, a recipe site, a page from a cookbook. Tap Share, tap Cookaday, keep scrolling. The recipe is written while you do — ingredients, method, a photo without the play button — and waits in Recipes with the creator’s name and picture on it, one tap from the original.

Two ways in
One question, and only two honest answers to it
Every session starts the same way, because at half past six there are only ever two situations you are in.
Door one
I have this
There is salmon in the fridge and you do not know what to do with it — or you know the ingredient but not the method. Tap it. Cookaday writes the ways to cook it, with real times.

Door two
No idea
Nothing in mind, and you will shop for it. Cookaday suggests, then hands you the list. It will not suggest what you cooked on Tuesday.

Before you install, not after
What is free, and what is not
Apps in this category get deleted for charging for the thing people already did for free. So here is the line, in public, before you download anything.
Free, forever
Saving, and reading
- Saving recipes is free and unlimited. No five-recipe cap, no charge for importing from the share sheet. Ever.
- Five new asks a week, three “show me something else” and three page scans a month. Enough to decide most weeknights; the answers you already have stay open.
- Every recipe page on this site opens for anyone, with no app and no account.
- No advertising anywhere in the app, and never in the middle of cooking.
What Pro buys
Asking without counting
- Ask as often as dinner comes round. Every new question is a recipe written for your kitchen; Pro does not count them.
- Unlimited “show me something else” and unlimited scans of cookbook pages and handwritten notes.
- A photo for every recipe you save, made for the dish when the post had none.
$59.99 a year with the first three days free, $9.99 a month, or $2.99 a week. Stated here and in the store before you install — never discovered afterwards. Local prices may differ.
Decisions, not promises
Things Cookaday will not do
No advertising
Not on the recipe, not in the list, and above all not between two steps while your hands are covered in dough.
No weight, no calories
Cookaday never asks your weight, your body goals or a calorie target, and does not track them. It is not a diet app. The question is what to cook, not what you should weigh.
No invented cooking temperatures
Internal temperatures and doneness cues come from a hand-checked table with a source for every row. The wording around them may be written; the numbers may not.
Share a recipe out
Every answer gets a page anyone can open
Send a recipe to someone without the app and it opens as a normal web page: ingredients, steps, photographs. The list and the cook mode are what need the app.
